Serving the Atlantic Provinces in Canada and Northeastern United States, we design and fabricate wall panels and floor trusses for a variety of of projects.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Administrator to assist with a wide variety of tasks relating to the administration and management of financial information. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and will be comfortable learning software applications quickly. The Accounting Administrator will help organize and maintain accounting documents, produce reports, maintain account balances and reconcile accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Post all financial information to the company’s financial accounting system.
• Post all financial information to the financial accounting system.
• Be able to create and manage reports for the Controller.
• Ensure that all transactions are properly posted.
• Manage inventory allocations to various projects.
• Manage all accounts payable and receivable.
• Manage daily bank reconciliations
• Manage all payroll transactions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications:

• Full understanding of accounting principles and cycle.
• Understanding of vendor and customer relationship management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning attention to detail skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast pace and changing environment.

Education and Experience:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience accounting experience is a must.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College Diploma/Degree in Accounting required.
• Bachelor’s (4 year) degree considered an asset.

Working conditions:

This is a Monday – Friday fulltime position located in Nackawic, New Brunswick. This position may require evening or weekend work to meet deadlines. Exposure to loud noises may happen in the plant/fabrication facility.

This position does provide the flexibility of a hybrid working model once the initial probationary period has ended.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
