Cornerstone Demolition Looking for Labourer at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

Cornerstone Demolition is a leading demolition company based in West Auckland, New Zealand. We offer the best solutions for residential and commercial site demolitions that suit your needs. Our company is developing and we are looking for Labourers to join our operations teams. The ideal candidates will be hard working, professional in manners and actions, with a positive can-do attitude.

The main duties of labourers are to perform and assist in demolition works at various sites throughout the Auckland Region. You will be required and not limited to:

• Perform manual work correctly and safely as instructed.
• Assist the team and others where required.
• Demonstrate knowledge in use of tools, equipment, machinery, and safe work practices.
• Be on site to start work in a timely manner. Own transport is preferred.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Load and unload various materials.
• Wear correct PPE and RPE – these will be provided. If gears become damaged, they will need to be returned to the office for replacement.
• Use tools correctly and safely, and perform care and maintenance for assigned tools.
• Prep sites by cleaning and removing potential obstacles and hazards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a same or similar job position.
• Be physically fit and in good health to be able to keep up and carry out work demands.
• Current and valid Class 1 License is preferred. Other training and competency certificates are also preferred and encouraged (Sitesafe, Constructsafe, EWP, etc.).
• Good work ethics and communication skills.
• Team oriented and open minded.
• Health and safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Salary: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Flexible hours
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
