We seek Construction Workers. We will consider candidates without any previous work experience in the construction sector who are eager to learn new things and have a “can do” attitude.
This job role is responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings. Unloading and loading materials, reading plans and specifications, and assisting other construction site workers.
Construction Workers are required to:
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
- Help skilled workers when necessary
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
- Load or unload construction materials
- Assist erecting framings and truss.
- Assist fixing hardware to wood or concrete.
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Follow instructions from supervisors
Other requirements:
- Able to work independently
- Be efficient, reliable and punctual
- Good time management skills
- Able to cooperate with the team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to work on weekends
- Travel anywhere within Auckland
