Job Summary:
The Order Entry Specialist reports to the Customer Service Manager and is responsible for the input of quality data into our ERP system (Epicor) for new orders. In this role, you will maintain records within the ERP for all new entries and changes while working closely with planning, production, purchasing, sales, logistics, and project team members. You will ensure order level dates are appropriately reflected on the Sales Orders and will be the primary point of contact for standard / inventory orders, including general coordination and notification of schedule changes.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Review incoming orders to ensure adherence to new order guidelines and acknowledge orders
· Escalates system errors to the customer service manager immediately
· Work with management and sales to resolve pricing discrepancies
· Accurate data entry into ERP system for broad sales order management use
· Respond promptly to changes requested from manufacturing and project teams
· Coordinate with customers on order status and serve as primary contact when order is ready to ship
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and manage a daily task list efficiently
· Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
· Experience with Epicor, or similar ERP system, highly preferred
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Little to no travel expected for this role

· Base salary DOE
