Job Description Summary
Cushman & Wakefield – Part-Time Receptionist
(Reporting to the Head of Reception)
This part-time role will provide key support to the Head of Reception and a team of two receptionists. The role will provide an efficient, professional and friendly customer service to both external and internal clients.
The requirement is to work every Friday and provide cover on an “as required” basis throughout the year to cover holidays and other leave throughout the year. The busiest period is between May and October.
Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities include:
Answer, screen and forward all calls appropriately in an efficient manner
Greet and welcome guests/clients
Direct all email queries appropriately and accurately
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Ensure the reception area is kept tidy, clean and smart looking
Manage the booking and preparation of meeting rooms
Organise refreshments for meetings as and when requested
Assist with booking of pool cars
Booking of couriers and taxis as requested
Other ad hoc duties when required
Skills Required:
Excellent customer care skills
Excellent telephone skills
Proficient in Word, Excel and MS Outlook
Hours of Work:
A working day is 7.5 hours. The office is open from 8am to 5.30pm and there is always two Receptionists on duty during the day. One Receptionist will work 8 am to 4.30 pm and the other will work 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.
