Custom Aeronautical Support Looking for Warehouse Logistics Manager at Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand Full Time

Job Description

1. Logistical Management Experience: Must have Warehouse or Logistical Management experience. The manager will oversee the warehouse team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment. Must be able experience with receiving, shipping, and creating packing list, quality control, and invoices.

2. Inventory Management: Experience with any ERP system (preferred but not necessary). The Warehouse Logistics Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring shipping supply levels, and implementing efficient storage and retrieval systems.

3. Operational Efficiency: The manager will optimize warehouse operations by streamlining processes of receiving shipments, packing, and shipping while implementing best practices, and utilizing appropriate technology and equipment.

4. Forklift certification is preferred but can be given when hired.

5. Quality Control: Experience in quality control standards to ensure accuracy, minimize errors, and meet.

6. Health and Safety: Knowledge of Safety standards is preferred. The manager will enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff.

7. Freight forwarder Relations: The manager will coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries, resolve any issues, and maintain positive working relationships.

8. Cost Management: The manager will monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize operational costs without compromising quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
