Job Description
Since 1924, Aetna’s Sales Development Program, Group School, has trained and nurtured young professionals starting their sales career in healthcare. New hires in our rigorous training curriculum learn our broad variety of products and the art of selling. Rookie’s test and apply their knowledge in real-life scenarios with feedback from sales leadership. With over 100 classes of alumni, and a nearly 100-year history, Group School’s hands-on learning approach has a history of success in transforming young college graduates into seasoned sales professionals. What to expect in this program: A year-long sales development program including a comprehensive training program before starting your field role Active training and mentorship through the program, enterprise, and your field team Top-tier sales and product training that will help ensure your success in the field. As a member of our sales team, you will build and maintain relationships with brokers and prospective and current clients while working to expand your book-of-business. Working together with internal partners, you will assemble employee benefit packages that help to meet our client needs, develop high impact presentations and proposals on healthcare benefit packages and present to key decision makers. Success is measured by managing multiple proposals and clients simultaneously, closing sales, and retaining clients.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
CVS Health requires its Colleagues in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.
If you are vaccinated, you are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status within the first 30 days of your employment. For the two COVID-19 shot regimen, you will be required to provide proof of your second COVID-19 shot within the first 60 days of your employment. Failure to provide timely proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will result in the termination of your employment with CVS Health.
If you are unable to be fully vaccinated due to disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief, you will be required to apply for a reasonable accommodation within the first 30 days of your employment in order to remain employed with CVS Health. As a part of this process, you will be required to provide information or documentation about the reason you cannot be vaccinated. If your request for an accommodation is not approved, then your employment may be terminated.

Strong written communication skills Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders Use critical thinking skills to identify risks, trends, or client needs and solve these findings with innovative solutions Have leadership experience. Examples may include: project leadership, workplace responsibilities, active roles in student/social organization activities, or sports Have internship, volunteer, or work experience in related fields such as business to business sales, account management, healthcare, or client relations Exhibit excellence in academic performance Have an interest in joining CVS Health full-time upon graduation Project management experience. Examples include: leading a school or work-related project from start to finish
Education
You must meet the follow qualifications: Be currently pursuing a Bachelors degree Have an anticipated graduation date between May 2019 and August 2022 Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position. Examples include: Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Management
