Part-time | Office Assistant
Qualifications:
20-40 hours/week schedule
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Microsoft Office Proficiency: Outlook | Word | Excel
Fast/Accurate Typing | Proficient Computer Skills
Excellent Customer Service | Phone Experience
QuickBooks Proficiency (light training available)
HVAC industry office experience: (Preferred)
Attendance | Punctuality (regular/predictable) (Required)

Part-time Office Assistant Job Description:

Dalton Heating & Cooling Inc has been providing HVAC services to homeowners for more than 30 years. The ideal candidate must be capable of working in a small, fast-paced and ever-changing office environment with the ability to multitask with a positive attitude being flexible, precise, timely and accurate. Great customer service and communication skills are a must. Dedication, reliability, loyalty and respectfulness in this long-term relationship is top priority. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities.

Essential Functions:
Support the Office Coordinator, Sales and Service in various administrative tasks
Maintain files, records, database with effective systems
Perform basic bookkeeping activities including A/R & A/P duties as assigned
Assist in customer/vendor relationship management
Assist with social media
Answering calls, scheduling
Dispatching technicians
Customer/Vendor correspondence via phone, mailings and emails
Vendor Purchasing
Light HR duties
Ensuring time cards are submitted, accurate and entered for payroll
Maintain technician uniform inventory
Maintain white board schedule
