Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

• Architect and develop the solutions on IBM cloud preferably hosting

• Lead a team of 12 with red-hat system administrators, DevOps engineers, IIB, MQ and Datapower admins, Splunk, and DB2 DBA where it needs your attention to make the necessary decisions at the architect level.

• Guide and perform appropriate decision-making skills per the data provided by the engineers.

• Manage infrastructure components such as ESXi hosts, Network foundational concepts

• Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle and focus on delivery of qualitysolutions

• Translate business requirements and processes into technical requirements and configuration settings specific to software application solutions

The Team

Our Core Technology Operations team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Core Technology Operations professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience

• 10+ years of experience NSX experience, VMware, vCenter, vSphere and Linux OS administration

• Knowledge installing, configuring, and maintaining virtualization systems such as VMWare vSphere

• Extensive Experience with AD server configurations, NAT, and firewall rules with ESXi, NSX, and quantastor

• Strong hands-on experience within to Redhat Linux and AWS Cloud environments

• Strong hand-on experience in implementing OS security patches on Linux

• Strong understanding of routers, switches, provisioning, firewalls, and security protocols.

• Travel up to 10% annually
