Dental Care Ireland Hiring for Dental Receptionist Job at Ireland , Ireland Full Time

A great opportunity for a dental receptionist to join our well-established practice in Mayfield, Cork. This is a full-time position. Experience is preferred but full training will be provided. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and work alongside both our skilled friendly support staff.

Tasks and responsibilities

Providing excellence in customer service

o Greeting and registering patients on a day to day basis at the reception desk

o Providing information and reassurance to patients about their treatment

o Handling, recording and resolving patient complaints in line with company guidelines

o Phone and email management throughout the day

· Daily cashing up exercise for the practice

· Appointment book management to ensure maximisation of working hours

· Providing support to clinicians by sending prescriptions, referral letters, x-rays etc

· Performing any local administration tasks such as filing/scanning/lodgements/postage

· Payor claim administration for GMS/PRSI/VHI/DeCare

o Eligibility checking

o Claims and ensuring accuracy of claim forms

o Tracking of claims

o Payment reconciliation

· Running daily, weekly and monthly reports from Exact

· Completion of various spreadsheets for accounts purposes (i.e. cash sheet, trackers etc)

· Key holder duties

· Assisting the practice manager to achieve agreed company KPIs
