As the Adviser Protective Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring Ara Poutama Aotearoa’s commitment to Protective Security Requirements. By providing ongoing support, advice, and training at all levels, you will ensure that we have appropriate and effective measures in place to protect New Zealand’s people, information, and assets.
Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of Protective Security Requirements, contributing to the national security clearance vetting process, offering specialised security advice, and enhancing security capabilities. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders, analysing threat levels, supporting investigations, and driving personal development for improved security competency. Additionally, the you will contribute to the annual Protective Security Requirements compliance reporting and help develop an assurance framework for continuous improvement.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $82,130 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $69,811 – $98,556 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
