The Texas Department of Information Resources is the state agency charged with protecting the states data and critical technology infrastructure, managing a multi-million-dollar cooperative contracts program, and providing strategic technology leadership, solutions, and innovation to all levels of Texas government. Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have the ability to highlight their strengths in the following functions:
Demonstrate understanding of the application development lifecycle, including Plan, Design, Implement, Test, Deploy, and Maintain.
Historical data migration to a new application.
Par icipate in ongoing website enhancement efforts including Digital Asset Management (contract document management) and improving the Application Programming interface (API) between Drupal and Salesforce.
Participate in the deployment of a new application for IR Compliance (Information Resources) into Salesforce, automating the designation of agency IRMs (Information Resource Managers) and ISOs (Information Security Officers).
Research coding accessibility principles for internal and external applications.
Work with cross functional teams (Operations, Finance, Data Office, etc.) to understand their needs and business processes, to inform how ITS can assist.
Research and understand how the various systems and code make up the BidStamp application, including SharePoint, DocuSign, Salesforce, and .NET.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education
A recent graduate, or a student currently enrolled in a college or university undergraduate, with a major or course work in Computer Science or Computer Information Science, or a related field.
Must possess academic performance that is considered in good academic standing by college/university standards.
Experience and Training Preferred
Experience or knowledge of Salesforce.
Experience or knowledge of SharePoint
Experience of knowledge of Drupal.
Basic knowledge or understanding of one or more of the following web-based UIs and applications: HTML5, CSS, .Net, .Net C# Web Services, JSP, XML, XSLT, CAML, SQL, T-SQL, SOAP, WSDL or AJAX technologies.
