Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
Within DPMC, the Risk and System Governance Group (RSGG) and the National Security Group (NSG) provide leadership to DPMC’s risk and system governance, and national security accountabilities respectively.
This role sits on the leadership team of both Groups and leads a team that provides support for business management, administration, information management, relationship building and stakeholder engagement.
The overarching purpose of the Manager, Joint Office position is to –
This role requires a proactive approach, ability to drive and cut through with momentum, whilst maintaining a visible leadership style and a successful network of sustainable relationships.
In the short to medium term, the key focus of the role will be on establishing organisational policy and processes, developing strategic advice, identifying and managing risks and opportunities, and determining strategic priorities for the success of the role in the longer term.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record and experience in implementing annual plans against agreed priorities including programmes, projects and budget reporting.
With significant influencing and senior level relationship management experience, you will also have a depth of understanding of government accountability and legislative requirements.
Most importantly, your success will be through effective people leadership. As a current people leader, you’ll have demonstrated experience in supporting staff capability and building a positive culture or team engagement.

Normally you must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a Resident class visa. Alternatively, you must have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia with a 10 year checkable background. To find out more check your eligibility for a TOP SECRET security clearance.
