ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our store associates are passionate about creating a hassle-free shopping experience for our customers through their eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and ability to prioritize. They are constantly learning, supporting their team across all departments, and contributing to an overall fun store culture!
Compensation range of pay for role: $12.50 – $19.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to support their shopping experience
- Ensure that all merchandise and product received at the store is processed in accordance with estabilished programs and procedures and that the department area is organized and maintained
- Assist with the unloading of trucks and processing of freight
- Uphold company standards of merchandise presentation of the best brands in sporting goods
- Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (associates & customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- As business needs arise, other tasks may become necessary to support the team and the store

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Flexible availability – including nights, weekend, and holidays

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons/bins weighing appromiately 10-50 pounds each repetitvely

Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
