Dietrich Trucking Hiring for Dispatch Administrative Professional at Vancouver, WA Full Time

Responsibilities and Duties

This position reports to the Logistics Manager. Duties include the following:

• Scheduling and dispatching drivers, vehicles, and or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
• Use of telephones, text messages & email to contact employees or customer for time sensitive instructions / requests
• Analysis of driver routing will be needed from time to time to optimize company resources
• Haul documentation review as well as time card and delay verification as needed

In addition, this position requires the following:

• Willingness to learn new software and processes
• Willingness to collaborate effectively with billing and time keeping department
• Meet shift expectations of 8:00am → 6:00pm Mon-Fri

Position Requirements

• Effective utilization of Microsoft Outlook
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must also be able to display sound judgement and critical thinking under pressure
• Continual practice of active listening skills with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
