So now that you know about us, here’s the job…

At Diverzify, we believe our associates are at the heart of our organization. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. You will report to the Director of Human Resources. You will work closely with the HR team to develop, implement and execute forward-thinking HR initiatives and be expected to provide recommendations through analytical and strategic thinking. Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional and requires a deep understanding of all core HR functions and the ability to oversee and manage processes. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing training, administering employee benefits and leaves, and assisting in crafting HR policies. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date, confidential, and in accordance with company, state, and federal regulations. And you’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. Strong time and organizational management are essential for success in this role. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.

Here’s what we are looking for…

• Communicate collaboratively with leadership to influence, develop, implement, and manage policies, programs, and services, in areas such as recruitment and retention, performance management, and employee relations
• Effectively interface with all levels of the organization to coordinate and support all HR-related activities
• Analyze situations, identify, and forecast potential problems. Evaluate realistic options to recommend/implement an appropriate course of action
• Support the recruiting process for both Hourly and Salary positions
• Facilitate the onboarding and orientation process to foster a successful start with the organization
• Prepare advanced reports using Excel and/or similar software (i.e., monthly labor costs, monthly headcount, audits documentation)
• Maintain employee files and HR filing system
• Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews
• Plan team-building events for employees
• Administer the employee performance evaluation process
• Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
• Create and send reminders and communications to employees on various HR matters
• Maintain strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
• Keep up to date with employment laws and best practices and communicate with these leaders regularly
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by leadership

and you should have the following…

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience in a similar role) required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Is highly preferred
• At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.
• SHRM-CP is a plus.
• 2 years of experience working knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Paylocity) will be a plus
