DogPhoria’s Pampered Pets Hiring for Kennel Technician/Receptionist Job at Alpharetta, GA Full Time

Dogphoria’s Pampered Pets is a well established boarding and daycare facility near the Canton/Milton area. We are looking for a DOG LOVING, staff member with front desk experience in a boarding kennel or veterinary office, interested in working a range from 30-40 hours a week to join our team!

**Pay is based on kennel experience and evaluations are done periodically. Starting at $18 an hour for full time employment or $15 an hour for part time work.**

Need one full time staff member (30-40 hours a week, overtime available over school holidays and Summer). Shifts are 7 days a week from 7:15 AM-1:15 PM and again from 3 PM to 7:30 PM. Need help Friday-Monday and Thursday AM.

We are looking for candidates with a desire for a career in the pet care industry as the positions will have the opportunity to grow into management positions.

**Holiday hours are required as these are our busiest times**

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Feeding, administering medications and pampering dogs (including bathing dogs)
• Assessing temperaments and monitoring play groups with dogs
• Kennel and general cleaning
• Scooping and cleaning of the play areas
• Checking clients in/out
• Handling front desk tasks (responding to emails, phone calls and booking reservations for clients)
• Running our pet taxi service

REQUIREMENTS

• Must LOVE dogs
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have own transportation to and from work (own license and vehicle, not relying on others for rides)
• Available to work most holidays
• Have great communication and customer service skills
• Be punctual and dependable
• Must be self-sufficient and have excellent time management skills
• Must be reliable and honest
• Pass criminal/background check
• Must have internet access to communicate with staff/receive schedule
