Administrative Assistant / Floater:

Located on a 60-acre therapeutic farm with a full range of indoor and outdoor psychological treatment amenities, Dr. Angela Fountain & Associates is a large well-staffed psychology clinic that offers all the traditional family and child community-based clinic services and more. From our indoor consultation offices and play therapy rooms to our adjoining equine therapy stables, small animal handling facilities, play and swim areas, to adventures in our forest and farm meadows, practicing psychology moves to a new level of wellness that more traditional settings cannot offer. Candidates must have/be:

• Minimum of one – two years administrative experience
• Working knowledge of general software applications/databases
• An upbeat personality, remaining positive and friendly during communication with clients and staff
• Experience/interest in gardening
• Not afraid of a screwdriver
• Willing to feed/care for small animals
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills
• Always keep confidentiality and privacy top of mind.
• When receiving client inquires over the phone, you may be required to provide empathy and understanding, thoroughly document the significant details of the inquiry, while maintaining a calm demeanour
• Proactive in all aspects of work
• Adaptable – we are ever evolving, building, and integrating constructive feedback
• Flexible in terms of adjusting hours and being available to cover sick time and vacation time as needed within the administrative team
• Team Player – we have a close-knit administrative team that is enthusiastic and supportive. Candidates should expect to be evaluated based on their fit within our existing team.

Also considered an asset:

• Previous experience in a similar administrative role
• Previous experience working in a mental health environment/field
• Experience working with JaneApp

Note:

This is a full time in-person role following the appropriate Covid 19 protocols.
