An exciting opportunity has become available for a Receptionist to join our Auckland office!

If you are energetic, have fantastic interpersonal skills and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you! This position will be the first point of contact for all client enquiries and will therefore require basic administrative skills. In return you will receive on the job training as you work closely in a supportive company environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As this role is an integral part of the DSV team we are seeking an individual who can create a positive experience for our clients and visitors. You will be required to be well presented, well-spoken and have an eye for detail, with the ability to conduct yourself in a very professional manner. This role will be a busy role, so you will also need to be well organized and have a high level of initiative.

• Answering all calls, directing them to appropriate person/department and taking messages where necessary
• Management of all meeting room bookings
• Organising couriers
• Ensuring reception and meeting rooms are well presented
• Preparing mail for distribution (incoming and outgoing)
• Organising catering for office events
• Adhoc administrative tasks

Skills and experience

• Basic administrative skills
• 1-2 years Reception experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Word)
• A positive and friendly attitude
