The Role in Brief
Product Analyst
We are seeking a talented, passionate, and highly entrepreneurial team player to take on a Product Analyst role within our Technology division. You will work with product management and user experience to engage end users and stakeholders to collect and analyze data, ideas and product feedback for product recommendations. This role will also support strategic and tactical product roadmap decisions as well as internal and external communication to a broad group of stakeholders ranging from sales, account management, user experience and engineering to discover, design, build, deliver and improve our technology products.
This role can be based either in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain a Product Roadmap and idea backlog based on the organization’s vision, goals, and success metrics, functional area strategies, user input, target architecture, and market research
Manage feedback channels to evaluate and synthesize data into product recommendations and also provide feedback to partners and users

Engage with institution leaders, stakeholders, and end users to gather information and analyze data to make product recommendations
Collect data on key performance indicators to inform tactical and strategic product decisions
Support user for testing ideas
Monitor key performance indicators to stay abreast of product performance and inform strategic adjustments to product roadmap
Partner with User Experience to ensure product solutions are best in class
Drive transparency to roadmap detail, progress, roadblocks, etc. (across partners, Agile teams, senior leadership, etc.)
Write epics and success criteria with input from agile team and business partners
Act as the proxy for internal stakeholders to represent their voice to product strategy
Ensure smooth deployment and launch of solutions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of experience with demonstrated progression of seniority and complexity of accountability
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Proven analytic skills and ability to translate market findings into new product innovations
Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently while meeting critical milestones
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience leading the vision for and executing on the creation of third-party integrations
Ideal Qualifications:
Prior experience managing technology-based products serving Higher Education industries
Prior experience working within agile software development environment
Prior experience collaborating with cross functional teams spanning Development, Marketing, and Sales
Prior experience delivering B2B2C software products
