Teacher of Science MPS/UPS, Maternity Cover

Uckfield College is a highly successful and popular college in the heart of rural Sussex yet within commuting distance of Brighton, Eastbourne and the South Coast. Our college is an excellent working environment characterised by happy, well-motivated students and innovative and enthusiastic teachers. In September 2020 we moved into our new college building, with brand new Science classrooms.

We are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to cover maternity leave, commencing 31 October 2022. As the appointment is to cover maternity leave, the end date of this temporary contract will remain open and be dependent on the return to work of the permanent postholder. Applicants need to be capable of motivating students to ‘love learning for life’. Applications are invited from ECTs and experienced teachers.
