20hrs per week Part time (Mon – Thurs)

Thank you for your interest in working with Western Commercial Mercedes-Benz Govan, part of the Eastern Western Motor Group.

We currently have a vacancy for a Service driver, whose main focus will be to support the dealership by collecting and delivering customer vehicles to and from our Govan site.

The role is part time, working from Monday to Thursday, starting at 1600 hrs and finishing at 2100 hrs.

What does the job entail?

• To collect and deliver customer’s vehicles.
• To collect and delivery customer’s vehicles to subcontract agents.
• To complete inspection of vehicles for damage on collection from customer premises.
• To steam clean HGV’s prior to inspection/MOT.
• To collect/delivery parts from other branches when required.
• To maintain yard organisation and parking.
• To load HGV’s prior to brake tests and assist with brake tests.
• To assist Technicians with inspection, operating of lights, brakes, steering etc.
• To maintain workshop cleanliness.
• To maintain courtesy vehicles in a clean condition.
• To check on a weekly basis oil, fuel, water and tyres of all courtesy vehicles.
• Assistance with any other task as directed.

What are we looking for?

• HGV Class 2 License essential, HGV Class 1/PSV advantageous
