Construction Scheduler
Based in the United States, the Construction Scheduler will manage all aspects of new and remodel construction scheduling and analyses activity in support of the PMO, Sales Operations, Engineering, and Product organizations. This position reports to the SVP Global Program Management, and will have a hybrid schedule (presence required in Denver or Herndon office 1-2 days every 2 weeks).
Primary Responsibilities
Work with Engineering and other ECX departments to collect requirements, drawings, and specifications required for developing a work break down structure and project schedule
Implement and maintain an effective P6 and MS Project scheduling software system
Develop initial project schedule baseline taking into consideration the client’s requirements
Document project scheduling processes and assumptions
Evaluate project performance and identify potential schedule delays
Prepare schedule analysis and related reporting
Work collaboratively across departments including with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Account Management
Provide high-quality, recurring, and ad-hoc, verbal and written reports
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Extensive knowledge of CPM scheduling and planning using Primavera 6 or MS Project
Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings, as well as the ability to understand construction logic and sequencing of complex tasks
Understanding of construction terms, processes, and contractor roles
Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all stages of design
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, and PowerPoint; Visio and Excel.
Self-starter with positive attitude and strong emotional intelligence
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities
Ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers
Experience/Education
5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience as a construction scheduler
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or additional experience in lieu of degree
PMP certification required within 24 months after job start
OSHA 30 safety certification required within 3 months after job start
Knowledge of telecommunications and data center products, services, and operations, as well as p roficiency with Primavera P3 and Primavera Project Management 6 will help you be successful in this role
Travel
Up to 20% with the flexibility to travel on short notice.

The preferred pay range for this position is $115,000 to $160,000. Compensation will be finalized after consideration of the successful applicant’s prior work experience, education level and relevant education, and unique skills.
