About the Position
Coordinates the work flow of a High School Counseling Office and provides general administrative support to Counselors. This position greets office visitors, maintains confidential student files, assists with the registration process, prepares correspondence and forms, and schedules appointments. Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or recognized equivalent; and
Hold a post-secondary or advanced degree or its equivalent
* Per Governor Jay Inslee’s proclamation, all school district employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption. All new hires will be required to provide verification of vaccination or be eligible for an exemption, as a condition of employment.
Salary
2021-2022 Office Personnel Salary Schedule, Level D $29.54 per hour
Work Year: 190 days per year
Shift details: 7 hours per day
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Benefits
Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 3.5 hour per day continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 4 hour per day continuing contract.
