About The Job

As the Frontend (UI) Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using React and other modern frontend technologies. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create user-friendly interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for front-end development, and building products used by millions of Users.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable, and configurable applications and modules with an emphasis on quality, performance, design, and re-usability.
• Develop and maintain web applications using React and other modern frontend technologies
• Build and ship new software features and product enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and the rest of Engineering to re-iterate and enhance our product to create user-friendly interfaces, and ensure a seamless user experience
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other engineers
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development
• Prototype new ideas and iterate toward the ideal user experience
• Participate in technical discussions and plans to improve our overall software quality
• Handle enterprise customer escalation issues as needed

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in building and shipping end user-facing frontend UI features.
• Strong coding and technical design skills for user-friendly frontend interfaces
• Passion for simple, scalable, performant and beautiful user interfaces.
• Experience with React framework or other modern frontend technologies (VueJS, NextJS, Angular etc)
• Comfortable in the latest FE technologies like hooks, modern CSS, Typescript
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with SaaS and AWS/Azure/GCP is preferred
• Passion for applying AI technologies to usable interfaces
• As much experience in knowledge/experience of relevant technologies to our tech stack (see below)

Pay Transparency

Please note this role is categorized as hybrid in Santa Clara, CA The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonus and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and zone which is determined by location.

Zone A is in SF Bay Area, CA . Base annual salary range: $99,000 to 149,000 + discretionary bonus up to 10% + preIPO equity.
