About The Role
We have a great opportunity for a Head of Higher Education & Careers to take forward our new strategy for L4+ provision across the Group and become a key member of our wider leadership Team. You would be joining at an exciting time for the Group, with the integration of HTQs and higher apprenticeships into the academic offer. The role takes responsibility for the management of HE administrative staff and the UniConnect project team. The role also takes responsibility for the objectives within the Careers and Progression Strategy across the Group and disseminates Government requirements to make sure that the Group are meeting their statutory obligations.About You
The ideal candidate will have experience of Higher Education and ideally knowledge of the FE sector to underpin leadership with credibility, and experience of successfully working with external organisations such as partner HEIs and employers. They should also have significant, demonstrable line management and change management experience. As the role also encompasses the strategic responsibility for careers, knowledge of the current policy landscape and work of the Careers & Enterprise Company, aligned to the Gatsby Benchmarks would be beneficial.About Us
