Account Executive, Carelon Behavioral Health Client Partnerships
This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office), 1-2 times per week. The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Account Executive II for Carelon Behavioral Health Client Partnerships is responsible for strengthening existing relationships within the Carelon / Anthem-Wellpoint as a Client relationship while building new relationships with health plan targets to drive growth across all Carelon Behavioral Health products.
The role reports to the VP of Carelon Customer Success and is accountable for managing the partnerships and growth agenda within the California and New York Commercial health plan markets, across all Carelon Behavioral Health solutions.
How you will make an impact:
Carry out account management activities for a given set of Commercial Specialty Business Division markets and business units. This includes developing a comprehensive understanding of different components of the client contracts such as products, Statements of Work, Divisions of Responsibility, and Market Playbooks, among others.
Act as the primary liaison for designated market Plan Presidents, Chiefs of Staff, and other important market leaders.
Develops business relationships with key decision makers and ensures client satisfaction.
Identify and implement actions based on the analysis of market trends and cost of care inefficiencies to reach gross margin and OpGain targets.
Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and various partners within Clinical, Network, Finance, and Legal to align and achieve market goals.
Lead quarterly client meetings, Cost of Care Ideation sessions, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Market trend meetings.
Act as a prominent point of contact within the market for the resolution of issues and for spurring innovation within Client Success teams.
Coaches Account Managers as needed.
Collaborate with the Customer Success team counterparts to influence and prioritize the market-level strategy.
Lead and influence communications with client leadership on company value proposition and alignment to client strategy.
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
MBA preferred.
Behavioral health knowledge a plus.
Healthcare or managed care experience preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $97,840 to $176,112
