Job Title: Advanced Analytics Analyst Sr
Location: 100% Remote
The Enterprise Quality Strategy and Insights team is seeking an Advanced Analytics Analyst Sr to gain critical insights into member behavior drivers and preferences, product/program concepts and value propositions, operational effectiveness and efficiencies with member specific health gaps and needs.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Publishes results and address constraints/limitations with high level business partners.
Design predictive models related to use of behavioral health benefits, social drivers of health, and corresponding drivers of medical benefit usage
Prepares analytical data sets in support of modeling studies.
*Builds, tests, and validates statistical models. *
Develops original algorithms and implement in systems and tools that will be used to develop new predictive models and provider profiles that go beyond standard industry tools and lead to innovative solutions to address cost and use of medical benefits.
*Determines the continuous improvement opportunities of current predictive modeling algorithms. *
*Proactively collaborates with business partners to determine identified population segments and develop actionable plans to enable the identification of patterns related to quality, use, cost and other variables. *
Publishes results and address constraints/limitations with high level business partners.
Presents analyses effectively to analytical audience;
Possess strong intellectual curiosity and motivated to master analytical skills.
Can tell a story with the data through visual representation
Minimum Qualifications
Requires Graduate-level degree with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Public Health, Economics, Epidemiology, Engineering, Computer Science or Operations Research; 0-3 years direct experience applying statistical/analytical tools to solve research/practical problems, particularly in HEDIS, Clinical Quality improvement; exposure to health care or related fields preferable; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have working experience with SAS or equivalents analytical tools; working experience with Teradata, SQL, or equivalent data base tools as well as Tableau or equivalent visualization tools.
Experience with HEDIS measurement strongly preferred.
Familiarization with Medicare and Commercial (HIX) business strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $87,360 to $157,248
Locations: Colorado; Nevada, Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithica, NY and Westchester County, NY
