The Business Information Developer Consultant position is responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses.
How you will make an impact:
Responsible for developing and executing complex data analysis and research querying data warehouses.
Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
Coordinate business testing activities working closely with IT Teams.
Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
Conducts training on use of applications developed.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Prior PBM or Health Insurance experience strongly preferred.
MS Office Skills – MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and database skills strongly preferred.
Preferred competencies: Healthcare Advanced Analytics, Skilled analyst with strong proficiency in data analysis tools, Agile project experience, Strategic thought leadership, Innovative thinking, and Customer focused.
Preferred tools: Jira/Confluence, Teradata-SQL, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, SAS, Python/R, Cloud-based technology (AWS).
