Elim Park Baptist Home Hiring for Production Assistant at Cheshire, CT Full Time

General Description: Production Assistant for Nelson Hall will be expected to perform general tasks associated with set up and breakdown of production, technical assistance on lights, soundboard, cameras, load in/load out, assembling stage, sets, hanging pipe and drape, adjusting stage lighting, clearing back stage area for artists, moving furniture, and setting up tables and sound equipment as directed by the Director or Production Manager assigned to the event.

Other duties include: running tech for TV broadcasts, meetings, and lectures; assisting with tech setup and production for live events; assist with livestream of events; assist with parking for brief intervals before and sometimes after performances.

Essential Job Functions:
1) Load-in and load-out of set and equipment for productions.

2) Technical assistance to the Production Coordinator/Director

3) Assemble removable stage, sets, pipe and drape, and other props as directed.

4) Move instruments, furniture, sound and lighting equipment as directed

5) Set up and clear stage and backstage areas as directed.

6) Work as a team with cast, crew and Stage/Production Manager of incoming productions

7) Pre-show parking direction, up to two hours before performance

8) Work under the direction of the Nelson Hall Stage Systems Coordinator

9) Must demonstrate good customer service skills for greeting and assisting guests and working with incoming crews
