Roles & Responsibilities

Safety Supervisor:

• Responsible for overseeing all field safety reps on site.

• Responsible for training and advancing field safety reps

• Responsible for implementing and updating safety rules from IIPP.

• Has skills and knowledge to provide leadership.

• Has skills to communicate, public speaking is essential.

• Ability to manage, analyze and understand safety trends and deploy innovative methods to improve situations.

• Provide consultation and support for understanding safety policies and practices

• Develops, Implements and Maintains Safety Documents

• Assists in Safe Work Planning and Emergency Response Planning

• Assists in auditing of safety practices and procedures

• Assists in Implementing Site safety procedures.

• Works closely with site supervision.

• Works closely with client’s safety representative.

• Must have advanced behavioral based safety techniques.

• Must have good knowledge of OSHA regulations
