The Internal Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the implementation and execution of project orders (Tier II & Tier III). This includes having a complete understanding of the project scope and requirements while also having ownership for timely delivery. The Internal Project Manager, residing at the factory, is the local execution resource on the project team that coordinates with operations and all supporting departments.
AS AN INTERNAL PROJECT MANAGER , YOU WILL:
Coordinate large, highly complex and/or multi-national projects.
Effectively lead team responsible for executing portions of the project.
Develop and own the Project Master Schedule that includes schedules, milestones and execution strategy.
Ensure alignment with the Project Manager on the Emerson Commitment Date and the Customer PO Dates including milestone dates for drawing and procedure submittals, drawing and procedures approvals, equipment inspection notifications, and “Ready for Inspection” dates.
Interface and continuously communicate with the Project Manger throughout the life of the project to provide updates, master schedule and continues progress reports. Serve as primary point of communication for Pressure Management.
Effectively provide leadership for a comprehensive team consisting of personnel who are responsible for executing portions of the project.
Support proper project close-out; such as lessons learned and documentation completion.
Lead internal and external communication meetings to ensure alignment.
Participate Internal Kick-off Meetings to provide clarity and resolve any open issues in the Execution Plan
Participate in Pre-Inspection meetings with the Customer’s Inspector and achieve clarity to the inspection requirements and process.
Participate in change orders, terms and conditions and all additions or expansions to the Lead Project Manager of each project.
Quote and own the Lead-Time during the pursuit phase
Approve the lead-time commitment, especially during negotiations
Participate in joint project review/discussion with the pursuit team

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
BA or BS Degree or Equivalent or 2 plus years of experience
Experience realted to Project Management
2 years direct Project experience OR
2 years Engineering To Order or Customer or Engineering experience preferred.
Ability to work through processes and systems
Ability to develop and maintain relationships
Ability to influence and motivate
Computer literacy, data base management
Ability to comprehend technical literacy
