We are currently seeking a highly motivated Retail Assistant to join our team for the summer months in our shop in Sligo Town. This position might suit a student looking for summer work.

Contract Type: This is a fixed term contract.

Contract Hours: 1pm to 6pm – Tuesday to Saturday

Overview of the Post:
The purpose of the role is to assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop whilst motivating and encouraging staff and volunteers to help achieve sales targets in order to maximise our contribution to Enable Ireland’s services. You will be instrumental in making sure the shop is at the hub of the local community.

Overview of Duties & Responsibilities:
Advise and help our customers as they shop and make them feel welcome

Help with the shop merchandising and display

Organise stock in the backroom

The successful candidate will have

Essential Criteria:
Interpersonal and some sales techniques

Strong Customer Focus

Desirable Criteria:
Retail Experience – training is provided.

Good IT Skills – training is provided.

Brand Awareness
