Energy Transport Logistics Looking for Customer Service Agent – LAX at Carson, CA Full Time

JOB SUMMARY
Energy Transport Logistics is seeking a self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask. This individual will be part of a growing team and will be a key individual in providing successful solutions to our customers in a collaborative manner. Will provide support to internal and external customers needs with a proactive and professional approach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Excellent, Professional and Timely Customer Service whether handling customer inquiries, complaints, quotes, or support in order maintenance processes.
• Ability to successfully coordinate and collaborate between multiple departments, customers, and service providers
• Provide Clerical Support to daily operations- Including, but not limited to answering the Telephone/ Emails, Photocopying, Printing, Faxing, Filing, Record Maintenance.
• Assist with Data Entry
• Collect, Safekeep, and Help Upkeep all Relevant Customer data.
• Maintain open communication with customers to ensure all parties are clear in direction, whether confirming pickup/ delivery time and date, ensuring all mandatory forms are completed and attached, or if any moves need to have any specialized freight requirements or appointment.
• Assist Customers in Tracking and Tracing their freight, when needed.
• Notify customers of Freight Availability, Capacity, and other Important Information.
• Will need to maintain knowledge of company services.
• Work and Coordinate Effectively with Dispatch Team to ensure freight is delivered on time.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

COMPETENCIES

• Strong understanding of all MS Office Programs, Freight operating systems such as AS400, Alpha Truck, TMW, Freight Data, etc.
• Strong Verbal, Written Communication and Phone Skills
• Relevant experience can include cartage, transportation, moving companies, customer service, logistics, linehaul, intermodal, warehouse, ground operations, and dispatching air and ocean service.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Type 30+ WPM preferred
