Short Description

Equans NZ Limited is looking for Refrigeration Installation Technicians to join our Napier branch supporting our projects and customers in and around Hawkes Bay along with the rest of New Zealand as required.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven background in the industry, keen to stay busy and install modern commercial and supermarket refrigeration equipment including trans critical C02 systems.

Role Overview

• Installation of refrigeration plant/equipment such as piping (copper and stainless steel), rack systems, evaporators, gas coolers
• Welding/brazing of copper pipework associated with refrigeration systems
• Installation/assembly of refrigeration and air conditioning pipe work, systems and components including C02
• Refrigerated room/cabinet installation and assembly
• Installation of refrigeration condensate drains

Role requirements include:

• Current EST practising licence or NZQA Equivalent – would be advantageous
• Minimum of two years relevant experience in installation of refrigeration systems
• Proven aptitude for managing competing priorities with successful deliverables
• Ability to maintain high standards of customer service in a high-pressure environment
• A current clean NZ Driver Licence
• Skilled at identifying and recommending cost effective solutions
• Integrity and high personal and professional standards
