ETNA Supply is looking for the best in class Receptionist who creates a welcoming environment for all guests.
Part Time: Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays
Job Summary:
Warmly welcomes callers and visitors and answers their inquiries or connects them with the right person and assists with various branch clerical duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
These include the following and others may be assigned.
- Meet or exceed the expectations of our customers by providing a positive customer experience.
- Answer all calls in a prompt and courteous manner. Ensure that all calls are routed promptly and correctly to the appropriate department or person and that the person is not kept waiting unnecessarily.
- Warmly greet and assist people who come to the reception desk.
- Distribute incoming mail, messages, faxes, and other correspondence.
- Post outgoing mail.
- Maintain operational office equipment and appropriate levels of general office and janitorial supplies.
- Look at the aging report and make phone calls on past due accounts entering notes in Eclipse regarding status.
- Call vendors on any shipping errors.
- General clerical duties, including appointment and meeting scheduling and creating memos and other correspondence.
- Assists other employees in completing tasks as requested.
- Assist with creating reports by recording, compiling, entering and retrieving information, by hand or using computer.
- File and maintain records.
- Process cash and credit transactions.
- Assist with special projects.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Work safely.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Eclipse.
- Maintain a professional image as a representative of the Company.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Effective organization skills.
- Ability to efficiently operate standard office equipment, including multi-line phone.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Effectively write reports and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines and easily adapt to changing situations.
