The Front Office Assistant II in the physicians offices, also known as the Bayhealth Medical Group (BHMG) interacts between a patient and a doctor. They provide general information and properly direct patients. They are responsible for maintaining records and proper documentation from the patients and the doctors. They communicate heavily between a patient and a doctor, over the phone or in person.

Experience:
One-year clerical, office, and customer service experience in a healthcare environment
2+ years clerical, office, and customer service experience in a healthcare environment
Computer/Software Knowledge:
Basic computer literacy.
Microsoft Office / EMR proficient
Licensure/Certification
None.
Administrative Healthcare certification
Must also have:
Excellent customer service skills
Organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology
