EverCommerce Looking for Timely – Data Import Specialist (Remote NZ) at Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand Full Time

As our Data Import Specialist, you’ll help our activated customers get their data imported into the critical areas of the Timely & SalonBiz platform that will empower them to be successful.

As one of the people responsible for importing data from their old systems, you’ll be an integral part of our team. You’ll get to know the people behind the attachment heavy emails, by being friendly, funny, patient, honest and putting them at ease through the transition of a system that sits at the heart of their business.

Our team has built a bunch of great tools, in PowerShell, Python, and SQL, we use to import data, but there’s often much spreadsheet wrangling to do first. You don’t sweat at the prospect of tidying up a messy sheet to ensure we have clean, usable data.

You’ll work with our customers to extract data from their existing systems by running reports, and executing SQL Scripts and including a Team Viewer session to retrieve files from a customer’s local machine. Following that you’ll transform their data using spreadsheets and our in-house tools. This includes tooling in SQL, Python and Docker. Finally, you’ll be able to load the customer’s data into Timely and SalonBiz and they’ll be ready to roll.

This role is suitable for a recent graduate.

• Excellent spreadsheet skills
• A high attention to detail
• Experience with SQL – either T-SQL or PL-SQL
• Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, and Sharepoint
• Experience with Power Shell Scripts
• Understanding of Python, Java or Docker a plus

• This role is full time, permanent and can be based in our hubs in New Zealand or Melbourne.
• You must be legally entitled to work in Aotearoa, or Australia.
