Evergreen Public Schools Hiring for Classified Position (3701) at Vancouver, WA Full Time

Position information:
A quarantine room is a room where students go if they are showing COVID symptoms and a parent is coming to pick them up. This position would monitor this room to maintain student safety. This position will also be responsible for supporting students and/or staff who are in need of a COVID-19 test. This position may perform some or all of the following duties:

Provide guidance and supervision to students and/or staff on COVID-19 test swabbing, as requested.

Collect completed swabs.

Ensure cleaning of swabbing bays.

Prepare test for analysis.

Conduct processing of tests and mail materials in for analysis.

Ensures cleaning of testing area(s)

Travel between various schools to assist with COVID-19 testing

Medical grade masks and other PPE will be provided. Training will also be provided for this position. During the work day, if there are no students in the quarantine room, other duties may be assigned in order to support the building (i.e. playground, parent phone calls, distributing lunches, etc.)

Hours / Work Times

6 Hours Per Day (8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. AND 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. includes 30 minute unpaid lunch)

4.5 Hours Per Day Wednesdays (8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

Temporary position through end of school year.

This position will remain open until a qualified applicant is selected. The earliest date a recommendation for hire may be submitted is after 10/01/21.

On August 18, 2021, the Governor of Washington State announced a directive requiring all employees working for public schools to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtain a religious or medical exemption by October 18, 2021. If you are hired by Evergreen Public Schools, you will be required to provide your COVID-19 vaccination status.
