Evonik Methionine Hiring For Senior Process Engineer – Automation & Digitalization at Singapore Full Time

Business Line: Process Technology & Engineering

Responsibilities:

. Understand the automation & digitalization needs and opportunities within Evonik in the Asia Pacific region

. Identification & execution of projects with the focus on general instrumentation, automation & digitalization of Evonik`s production plants

. Data collection and evaluation, prediction of mathematical models, selection and implementation of optimization concepts and development of meaningful visualizations

. Development of process control strategies e.g. Advanced Process Control with multivariable controller`s incl. the development of the dynamic model for different production processes

. Support development and deployment of globally aligned and harmonized digital solutions

. Collaboration within a global network of digitalization experts and initiatives

Requirements:

. Successfully completed studies (Bachelor/Master/PhD) in the field of process control, automation, data engineering or process technology

. Deep knowledge about model based process control and optimization

. Experience in data engineering and data visualization

. Knowledge about OT infrastructure in production plants including the involved production related systems (e.g. DCS, PIMS, etc.)

. Previous work experience in the petrochemical/pharmaceutical/specialty chemical industries (5-10 years)

. Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken (German is a plus)

. Committed and loyal team member, which represents high self-motivation, flexibility and creativity

. Interest in being part of a global working group

. Willingness for international business travel
