Exeter Safari Company Hiring for Travel Consultant at Remote Full Time

Exeter Safari Company is a Tampa, Florida based leading tour operator focusing on custom-designed luxury travel to Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. We are a small team of passionate travel specialists and we’re looking for an Africa Safari Expert to join our team (either in-office or remote).

Responsibilities and Duties

Job duties are included, but not limited to:

Fielding incoming phone calls and emails from travelers.

Research various destinations and means of travel.

Booking of hotels, safari lodges, resorts, touring.

Organize travel from beginning to end.

Receive and resolve related customer concerns.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

A solid knowledge of the Africa Safari industry

Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Impeccable written and spoken English. Your written fluency should be at the university level.

Patience, courtesy, and impeccable grammar in dealing with our valued clients in person and by phone and email.

Strong customer service ethic and interpersonal skills, particularly in a phone-based service environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring multi-tasking, and sometimes under high stress.

Work experience demonstrating you have all the above skills we need.

2-5 years travel industry experience preferred.

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
