Your key responsibilities  

We’ll look to you to lead key state and local government relationships and manage high-performing engagement teams at an executive level within the practice and the Firm. You can expect to work with high-level client personnel to analyze, evaluate and enhance specific functional areas within your specialized area of technology, while helping our clients with technology enabled transformation to achieve their business objectives. We’re also looking for you to act as a role model for EY’s core values and maintain anf expand client relationships through the delivery of high quality work and public sector knowledge.

• Understand the key offerings from the EY Solution area leaders

• Develop relationships with experts and leaders within each market

• Identify agencies most pressing business issues and align EY solutions and capabilities

• Drive sales pursuits with the account team and lobbyists

• Serve on engagements sold where possible to manage delivery of work and build relationships and utilization

• Lead presentations and proposals efforts for complex pursuits

• Ability to drive projects to completion and confirm that work is a of a high quality

   

*To qualify for the role you must have *

• Deep experience in helping in various technology areas i.e. IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture (EA), system implementation or technology modernization, infrastructure design, IT Service Management, and Technology Business Management

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, electronic, chemical, industrial, mechanical, aeronautical, or computer science) or related study and minimum eight years of related work experience

   

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience as a state or local government employee in a leadership role

• Experience with at least one of the upcoming technologies e.g. Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics Process Automation (RPA).

• Experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Agile, Business Case Development, Performance Improvement, Change Management, and Program Management

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher
