Fallon & Byrne wishes to recruit full time Butcher for our award-winning Food Hall on Exchequer Street in the heart of Dublin city. We stock a wide range of premium foods and our Butchers all food-lovers who enjoy working in a busy setting.

We are passionate about exceeding our customer’s expectations and our Butchers are extremely customer-focused and passionate about delivering a superior experience.

Your hours of work will vary in accordance with the needs of the business. This is a full time role. You will need to be available to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers.
• Answering customer questions/queries.
• Serving customers and handling cash at our tills.
• Cutting, grinding and preparing meats for sale.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
• Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.
• Adhering to food safety and HACCP standards.
• Creating and maintaining attractive displays.
• Stock rotation and replenishment.

The Person

• A minimum of 1 year of butchery experience.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable with a passion for food and customer-service.
• Warm, vibrant, enthusiastic and welcoming, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for customer.
• Ability to be organised and work under pressure.
• Flexibility. Your hours of work may vary in accordance with the needs of the business.
