POSITION OVERVIEW
This position works as a member of our Administrative Team to ensure success for our 3 clinics, and reports directly to the Office Manager.
This role assumes responsibility for tracking all services rendered through our 3 offices in our electronic databases, invoicing for these services, including processing insurance claims and financial reporting to the Clinic Director.

As the Billing Administrator, our clients and team will count on you to perform the below duties within the set hours of operation:
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Monitor assigned e-mail inbox / voicemail
– Review daily client calendar and process charges to authorized cards on file, record payments in scheduling and accounting software and issue electronic receipts
– Process insurance claims and process co-payments where necessary
– Monthly billing and reconciliation
– Check physical paperwork for accuracy and ensure that payment information is up to date
REPORTING EXPECTATIONS
– Daily touch point with Office Manager for any urgent concerns;
– Daily contact with clinical and administrative team for any urgent client payment/paperwork requirements;
– Weekly review of outstanding A/R with Office Manager;
– Annual performance review with Office Manager and Clinic Director.
EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS
– Experience with office machinery {computer, fax machine, photocopier, multi-line phone system etc.};
– Minimum 1-year post-secondary studies;
– Minimum 2-year experience in a professional administrative position;
– Minimum 2-year experience in a collaborative team environment;
– Must provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance & Child and Youth Intervention Check {issued within 6 months from date of hire}.
HOURS AND EARNINGS
– Permanent, Full-time;
– Weekday, Daytime;
– $19.50 / hour;
– 5% vacation payable each cheque *establish vacation structure for time-off;
Please note that the position entails travel to our Beaumont and Edmonton office.
