The Farm
This farm of 150 acres carries 210 cows with a 18:18 herringbone parlour.
It is a winter milk operation with all year round calving.
The Role
We are looking for an assistant herdsman to work with the farm team.
Main duties will be milking, feeding calves , cleaning, yard maintenance, stock husbandry and the usual range of dairy farm tasks.
The Applicant
A person with some experience of all of the above, who can communicate effectively in English.
As the farm is in split blocks they must have a current drivers licence.
The farmer has indicated that he will be prepared to train a suitable enthusiastic person

There is excellent accommodation, on farm provided with this job.
