Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

We are looking for a full-time retail salesperson to work Monday to Friday, with a Saturday morning roster system. As we are a 6 day a week store, we will expect some flexibility around this 6 day period.

Reporting to the Kamo Business Manager, your key focus will be providing great retail and customer service to shareholders. You will also concentrate on:

• Advising customers on a range of dairy, sheep and beef, dry stock, and general agricultural products
• Operating a point of sale (POS) system
• Helping and maintaining the bulk store
• Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock

Mōhou ake | About you

We are looking for someone with a sound background in the farming sector and a broad knowledge of agricultural and farming products and services. You will also have proven experience in retail sales or customer service,

• You will have sound computer skills
• You will have a full clean Class 1 driver’s license
• You may have an (F) Forklift Endorsement and OSH Certificate (preferred not essential)
• You will be physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
