Farmlands Looking for Retail Salesperson, Part-time at Huntly, Waikato Full Time

We are currently seeking a motivated Salesperson to join our amazing team in our Huntly store. Our happy and friendly Huntly team work hard but enjoy having fun.

About the Role

This is a permanent role part-time working two days per week (preferably Tuesday and Thursday), with a Saturday morning roster system. In the role you will provide great service to shareholders in our retail store. You will also:

• Provide retail sales and customer service to our shareholders
• Give advice to customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products
• Operate a point of sale (POS) system
• Help out and maintain the bulk store
• Complete administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock

About You

You will have a sound background in the farming sector and a broad knowledge of products and services. You will also have:

• Retail sales or customer service skills and experience
• Class 1, An (F) Forklift Endorsement and OSH Certificate are preferred
• Be physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
• Sound agricultural knowledge
• Sound computer skills
