The Network Development Specialist functions as a provider liaison in the FirstHealth network. This position serves as the primary contact for referring provider practices in Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, and Robeson Counties. Develop an outreach/referral plan for assigned practices/regions with measurable goals and objectives. Identify and communicate to appropriate persons, referral source needs and business opportunities to include both the providers and assigned communities. Develop key messages, selling points, and scripting for provider visits. Maintain current knowledge of FHC system and services, and assess feedback from providers on access to services within FHC system to identify new opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, marketing or equivalent required. Two years’ experience in healthcare marketing or healthcare sales preferred. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required. Knowledge of regional and assigned healthcare markets and business relationships required.
