The Day-to-Day:
Help assess AML and Compliance risk on all client relationships following FII’s AML/CFT framework
Review proposals from sales for AML/CFT completeness in line with local policy and requirements, liaising with the Business on same
Perform due diligence, requesting Know Your Clients (KYC) information
Advise the business on regulatory requirements and assist with firm updates to Compliance policies
Conduct daily monitoring activities including those related to financial sanctions checks / PEP checks
Help with regular reviews of clients subject to Enhanced Due Diligence
Support/conduct reviews using the AML & non-AML Monitoring Plan and discussing any matters that arise with the Head of Compliance
Help develop the AML and non-AML Compliance Frameworks and AML and non-AML Monitoring Plans
Assist with producing Management Information for Committee and Board Reporting
Review and update our Financial Crime Risk Assessment and Business Risk Assessments
Help provide compliance training in the areas of Compliance Induction and AML for employees
Stay informed about guidance, consultation papers and thematic reviews from the Central Bank of Ireland and EU
Assist the Head of Compliance with governance reporting and related items
Your Qualifications:
A university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of 2nd line Compliance experience
Ability to educate our departments on regulatory matters and handle challenges from individuals
Experience educating first line departments on regulatory matters and how to handle challenges from individuals in the business
Italian and/or Spanish language skills a considerable advantage
LCOI qualification preferable but not essential
Complete a volume of varied tasks in a given time-frame while managing projects
