We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our team, working in a school in Perton on a long-term basis. The Teaching Assistant role is starting from January 2023, until the end of the academic year.

The Role

As a long-term Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to support the class teacher within the classroom setting, additionally to this you will be expected to:

• Create a positive learning environment.
• Work alongside the class teacher.
• Effectively manage the behaviour of the pupils in line with the behavioural policy.
• Deliver small group interventions to groups of pupils within the class.
• Set up the classroom for the morning.
• To be able to commit to the hours 8:30- 3:30.

To apply for this Year 6 Teacher role, you will need:

• To be experienced Primary Schools.
• To hold the relevant Level 2 qualification or above.
• Excellent behavioural and classroom management skills
• A strong school reference from your most recent employer.
